We settled on Panama rather quickly after an alternative location fell through at the last minute.  It would appear to most people on the outside looking in that this would be the easy part of the whole television making process when in fact, it is the bitch of the bunch.  I give major kudos to Location Managers who make a living doing this as it can be a very unsatisfying process…you have to first pick a place that you think will have two key areas relatively close together – A sick house/mansion that will impress the hell out of a harder and harder to satisfy audience as well as a hotel that can accommodate around 100 rooms at any given time.

MTV has decided to switch things up and allow us a different spin on our game and instead of providing everything for them, we are going to give them next to nothing and have them suffer through the season.  A sidenote here: this is my dream season.  We can now warn the cast that it will be tough and then enjoy a ton less bitching as it will be part of the game.  You would not believe the shit that these kids complain about when they are living in a mansion and competing in some of the coolest competitions that a team of producers can come up with on any given day. I have a love hate relationship with these kids as I truly think some of them are good people, but when you create a GROUP, it becomes an abomination that on some days, can test every fiber of one's being.  It’s also probably why I am still childless at 36 years old…
