So we are underway and have begun principal photography on our new season and we are set to have our first air drop for the cast.  I am a little concerned as to how this would all play out but surprisingly enough, our tests went according to plan.

I am going to try and give you a little insight into the way with which we document our kids lives on a day to day basis.  The show hires a group of people known in entertainment circles as Story Producers and we break them into several shifts so that we can cover the kids throughout the day and night.  Most of the time, this can best be equated to watching paint dry, picking scabs, ….(put your favorite saying here…) However, when it cranks up here in reality town, shit starts moving at a fever pitch and these field producers are the ones who document everything…In the upcoming blogs and throughout the rest of our season, I am going to attach some of the notes taken by our team so that you can get a better feel for the current activity here on “The Island” and see for yourself the incredible engine that functions behind the lens and away from your sight.  I will be adding my two cents and as off color as I sometimes can sound about what we are doing, we all love our jobs……enjoy and for god’s sakes, keep watching as I have a mortgage to pay….cheers.
